I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH GBS FIFTEEN YEARS AGO . A FEW YEARS AGO I BEGAN HAVING SEIZURES, THE DIAGNOSIS WAS NON EPILEPTIC SEIZURES. THEY GOT BETTER, WENT AWAY AND NOW HAVE RETURNED. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU
once they told me what the problem was, I quit being so scared and problem resolved to a manageable level. Before I got GBS I was fine so I guess you could say this is a residual. For many years I refused to face the situation, when I did it was overwhelming. One day you are fine, next day you can’t move or breathe on your own. I am doing much better now
turns out that it was no epileptic seizures brought on by stress
totally unable to move within twelve hours, some improvement, walking a little ways, with full leg braces and walker, for 1/2 hour couple days a week. a couple of years ago things started to go downhill. no muscles in legs, guess was using my hips to walk, energy level way down and lots of pain. IVIG did not work for me
I have been diagnosed with tumid lupis. The rash is all the way across my lower back. I am taking plaquenil and using azaban cream. Seems to help
my leg is moving again thanks to the celebrex. I do plan on starting physical therapy in the near future.
I did go to a Neurologist and pain clinic after and including test. there is too much nerve damage for me to walk. they put me on celebrex for the pain in my leg, helps a great deal. thanks for your help
shirleyWhen I get them, it is on my arms. Kind of looks like a sunburn and is very warm to touch
I was diagnosed in 1998. Not sure when the tremors started, but they were very severe. Still have them, but not nearly as bad. Seems like they travel throughout my whole body. I take baclafin to help control them.
I am going to a physician/ But you’re right, I’m not sure it’s related to GBS. Thanks
I Was Diagnosed With Gbs In February 1998. I Was On A Vent For Fourteen Months, Totaly Paralyzed. I Am Now Living In An Apartment By Myself, With A Caregiver At Intervals For Nine Hours During The Day. I Can Move My Arms, freely, My Hands Some, Not Able To Grip Much. I Can Use The Standing Frame And Walk Some With Full Leg Braces. What I’m Trying To Say Is Don’t Give Up, Each Day Brings More Progress. I Learned To Take The Time To Appreciate Everything.
