Relocating to Southeast Idaho

    • July 13, 2021 at 1:16 pm

      Hello,

I searched the forum but couldn’t find the info I need. We’re relocating to Pocatello, ID this fall. Medicare has been zero help in finding a neurologist with knowledge of CIDP. I tried calling a few yesterday and could not get a straight answer, besides being ONE YEAR out to take new patients!

I’m on a 6 week rotation for IVIG now, but certainly can not wait a full year before I get a Rx. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks, Buzz

It appears that the closest center of excellence to Pocatello is in Salt Lake City, about 165 miles South of you:

Local Neurologists specializing in peripheral neuropathy are here:

You could contact the GBS-CIDP liaison near Boise for a referral here:

I hope you can find a good doctor.
