Looking for MD

        Hi – I was diagnosed with CIDP in December right before my insurance changed. I’m trying to find a neurologist who not only accepts my insurance but knows something about CIDP. Does anyone have recommendations in Brooklyn or Manhattan? I’m not particularly mobile and I will be traveling on public transportation.

            Thanks Jim, The liaison did give me one name but it is for an MD that doesn’t take my insurance. I was hoping that the support group meetings were more regular so that I could talk to people but they aren’t and I’m not mobile enough to travel since I don’t have a car and I’m not well. I’m also frustrated that there isn’t a lot of helpful information about CIDP. I info about GBS. Even the lecture posted here on CIDP many of the questions are asked by people w/GBS. Thanks again, LG
