Lawyers for IVIG denial

    • April 6, 2017 at 3:20 pm

I am having some new “denial of claim” problems with my insurer related to IVIG infusions for my CIDP.
They paid the claims for 1.5 yrs and are now requesting additional information to support the CIDP diagnosis.
Hopefully my doctor and I will be able to satisfy this request, but there is no guarantee.

In the event that the denial is reasserted, does anyone have a recommendation for a lawyer or advocate that has experience in this area?

I am based in central NJ

You may not need an Attorney. Your State Department of Insurance will have claim forms to help you fight your insurance denial. It happened to me twice where they denied me and twice I had to go through my State’s appeal process and won both times. Samples of a claim letter to DOI are available in another thread on this forum.

      Good luck with your appeal.
