We have had snow here 60 of the past 69 days! It hasn’t been all that cold when it snows (highs around 5-15), but now that it seems to be abating somewhat, we are starting the deep freeze(-15 right now.)

TNP is dreaming of a vacation to a warmer climate coming up.
We are heading to SW FL on Feb 15 for a month & I can’t wait!

The Twin Cities here in MN is getting a foot of snow, but we live 200 miles north in the Arrowhead region of MN & the band is missing us. Don’t get me wrong, I love the snow, but we already have a couple feet! I would be asking hubby to go sledding, but my son has our 2-up snowmobile up at the hunting shack until tomorrow, as he is black powder deer hunting. Even our 4-wheeler wouldn’t have made it into the shack this time. Heading to town to visit my husband’s aunt…

yay! snow in MN often is a sign that snow is on the way to ONT., I can’t wait to get out the shovel! ….BTW, where’s the damn sarcastic face button??:)…my vit. d levels were fine when I went into ICU and they tested me for everything including the Black Plague, I was taking it and drinking a lot of soy milk anyway, not sure when they should test or if natural levels build up, not sure what a ‘good level’ is for that matter……

It is currently 28 degrees here & we have had snow on the ground for two days now. Up here in northern MN the winters are brutal, we usually have the lowest temps in the nation! Just wanted to make you guys feel better about where you live, LOL. If we hadn’t lost so much of our retirement money in the stock market, I would be down in Florida looking for a condo for the winter months. Hard to believe I used to love winter, it used to mean downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, ourdoor skating, & snowmobiling all day. Those days are now over, so for me winter gets verrry long…

SNOW! Already! Geeze! I’m sitting here with my fan on and my windows and doors open. It’s hot here today in my area. Sun shining and not even using heat yet! Thank goodness for that one!
Gary! I don’t think that was the tunnel you hit! I wasn’t paying attention and I think we must have collided with each other!
That’s okay! I will alright! Hey! I’ll race you back to the bar and we will have another Root Beer Race! 😀

I know where you are coming from, as I live in northern MN. We got a foot of snow this weekend & it has snowed another 3″ inches today. When we ran out to run errands today I wore my AFOs as usual & used my cane. It works, but the AFOs sure do get cold! I do still love the snow, however, as we love to snowmobile (for obvious reasons now, skiing & skating are out.)
