Dave and all,

1. Friday’s 1st practice was run.
2. Friday’s qualifications were ran…the field was sat.
3. Saturday’s 2nd practice was run.
4. Saturday’s final practice had been run.
5. Even the Busch race had been completed by 5:30 PM.

The Weather Channel had a clear and sunny with near 90 forecast. There was no more information that could be gained about the race — even the odds were established.

Chrissy had her picks posted; Cheryl had her picks posted; I posted my picks at 7:00 PM.

Now you are saying that it isn’t FAIR that we got our picks in. What is not fair? Remember last year when they started the compound races, and the budnascar website was overwhelmed with everyone trying to get their picks in by 7:00 PM and many didn’t because their website was down? Did they say…well, sorry, we will go back to last week’s picks – no, they did not. Prior to the compound races, you could go on the budnascar website at 6:30 PM w/o a problem…but then, you better be on before 3:00 or you would not get your picks in…

It’s not a question of being FAIR – It is an unfortunate happening that was unknown to anyone. Events happen that are beyond our control…you sell your stock at 1:00 PM and make a hugh profit, and I hold on mine until 3:45 PM, and the stock bottoms out…will I get my money back? Is that FAIR that you sold at 1:00? Would it sound FAIR for me to want my money back?

If I made a post today for Talladega’s race, would that be FAIR? Then if the Forum crashes tomorrow, and I was the only post…would the rest go back to last week, and mine count for this week?

We have never had a squabble here…we have always stayed calm.:) But, in my opinion, we’ve got to be realistic on this issue.

Let’s hear from others…especially Dick, because he is suppose to help in this kind of issue.
