The Immune System- a description

I found a web site that I liked.

The first reason I liked it is the photos- I love the cartoons!

The second reason is the description of how the immune system factors work.

Importantly, the whole system is set up to recognize, to learn and to automatically teach helper, attacker and killer cells. The point- the system is set up to automatically regenerate.

What does that mean? Just as with the famous battery bunny, our CIDP ‘problem’ will go on and on unchecked- FOREVER, unless specific steps are taken to stop it.

Oh, I almost forgot the web site:

Thanks Yuehan! I’m going to show this site to Emily. I do my best to explain things to her & I’m sure she has a pretty good understanding…but I think she’d like the cartoons too.
