Surges of tingliness?

I’m one of the lucky patients, and had mild GBS in the beginning of May and basically am 100% better already for the most part.

What I have been noticing, though, is surges of tingliness/pins and needles down my legs and now my arms. It’s comparable to a chill but with a different more nerve-ish feeling, it’s really hard to explain. I also get strangely clustered goosebumps with this feeling that last only a few seconds.

      Does anyone else experience these?

I got GBS Oct. 07 and still have tingling sensations, it has gotten milder over time where it is tolerable. It comes and goes in the arms but the legs and feet are continious and worse in the evenings. Even with the summer heat I will get chills and goosebumps across my upper back and arms, once in awhile on my legs.

Happens fairly often to me. Especially when I’m tired. I personally hate it when it feels like somethings crawling on me.

      Goes with the territory.
Feels like an ant crawling on my skin. My feet are the worst, but nowhere as painful as at onset, most of the time; and the arms, legs, and back still get sudden crawling sensations along them.

Those feelings do go with the territory. And pins and needles don’t compare to the chills. It’s 102 degrees today, and I was outside with my cane in short pants, tank top and knee high socks so my feet would stay warm.

OH I am happy to be in the company of good friends .. yes my life is like yours. I still have the pins and needles in my hands, arms, legs, feet. That crawling sensation mentioned by many… and I also get the “electric spark” when my legs or arms will jump. It gets my attention! Smiles. I know what it is like to be cold when the world is hot. “Goes with the territory” as many have shared with us. Funny with out these “sensations” I begin to wonder if I am getting worse…… oh my…..

Yes, I get the “chills” too… I notice that mine happen more around the time of the month and I think it is due to body temperature changes. I took my temp one time and it was like 96 or 97. I had mild GBS in November and still have daily weird sensations. I have dysautonomia, which is irregularity with the autonomic nervous system, that is persisting and I think the weird sensations go along with that.
