In my case I had neuromuscular problems prior to my late 1998 dual level cervical fusion and I continue to have problems following the surgery.
Although my spinal fusion surgery corrected the problem for which it was intended, it also seemed to cause “all” the doctors to shrug and say “oh, you have cervical radiculopathy.” That was usually the end of their interest in my case.
