Plaquenil

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried plaquenil for their symptoms and treatment? What the experience was and if it helped any. After a long discussion with my neurologist we are considering this. I am concerned about possible complications from covid and using immunosuppressive medications such as continued prednisone (tapered off), and rituxan which he has mentioned starting numerous times. I already am receiving IVIG every 2 weeks and this does seem to help some but hasn’t stopped symptoms. Considering plaquenil which he feels is a decent “middle ground” but I just wanted to hear from the forum before I consider starting this. Thanks
