I met Jim here on the discussion boards many years ago. We shared emails and symptoms of GBS and how to cope, how to get better and how to survive
meanwhile.
He had good advice and shared many emails on the funny side of life.
For, as we know, we must laugh at ourselves, or we will be sobbing all the timel.
He had given up fishing but tried to be actively involved in many other
civic organizations. He had a wife, a son and then a beautiful grandson….
he loved the little guy.
I had not heard from him in awhile, so stepped up the forwards and no response. After checking with one of his friends, I found out he passed on
a Saturday night in his sleep. Oct. 22… he left us peacefully., He is now
flying with the angels.
I will miss you my friend… go in peace and save a seat for me, see ya soon.

My Dear Friend Maureen:
I’m so sorry for the loss of a dear friend of yours and this family on the GBS board……how very sad.
It was nice that you and Jim could compare notes and help one another in different areas of GBS – my thoughts and prayers go out to Jim, his family and you, Maureen.
Love, Myrt

Dear Forum Family. . .
I am ever so touched with your kindness in response to Jim’s
passing.
I am sure his family is in need of the prayers as he left them so soon
and quietly in the night.
The bond of friendship/family that GBS has provided on these forums
is such a gift and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Jim is free from all the GBS residuals and flying with the angels!Blessings MaureenBoz
