IVIG Infusion

Greetings.  I was diagnosed with CIDP in 2021 and have been on a substantial dosage (80g) of IVIG every 4 weeks.  I tolerated the infusions extremely well until my last 2 infusions. What has happened is that my blood pressure has soared during the last hour or so of the infusion.  It remains high for a couple hours.  We had to stop the last infusion because the BP kept going up (177/110).  Even with a drastically slowed infusion rate, the BP still goes way up.  I know that a side effect of IVIG is an elevated BP, but I just find it very strange that I tolerated the medication so well until now.  Has anyone else encountered this?  I’m considering asking my Dr. to switch me to SCIG.
