Just found out what my nurses make when they’re at my house.
It startles me as was $ 50.00 an hour. -

Emily’s 1st nurse made $35 an hour.
Her 2nd nurse made $22 an hour.
I’m not sure what the current nurse makes.

Hospital nurses made $ 30.00 an hour here.

Personally, I know they get paid well; however, I am glad they are there in the event something does happen. I’ve had a couple episodes where I am thrilled I had an RN there, not somebody else with less qualifications.
If they do their jobs correctly, I believe they are worth every penny they earn. Of course, if they are just sitting there, maybe they don’t earn it. But, they should be monitoring vitals frequently and adjusting the rate of infusion. Plus, my nurse even makes lunch for me! 🙂

Mine sit there and I gotta go chase them down cause they do tend to wander off. Being at my place is a piece of cake. I just was surprised they got paid so much.
I do appreciate having infusions at home.
