Hi everybody! I check in here periodically to help when I can. I went down hard and fast in August 2008, but I recovered as completely as you can from this affliction and by October I was back to work. Working on my car has always been a catharsis for me, but when I got sick it kept me sane when I couldn’t communicate with anybody. Just worked on my car in my head instead. About four months after I went down I was ready for all the work I had done in my head during that period. I took lots of pictures and recently posted some on Flickr as a tribute to all of us who have been affilcted by GBS and CIDP. Check it out if you like. You don’t have to sign up for an account.
