Experience with IVIG and Prednisone CIDP/AMSAN

      1. I have CIDP/AMSAN. Has anyone done both IVIG and prednisone at the same time long term? I’ve done it twice for just a week and responded well to it. I get a large dose of IVIG every 3 weeks. My neurologist and I are considering adding a week of Prednisone into the week schedule.

      I had both together and had no problems.

      What product do you get for IVIG. I get Gammagard but read Gammunex-c is used to treat CIDP.  I have a new diagnosis so only had first treatment of IVIG for 4 consecutive days.  Having 2 days this week.
