Dr.’s at UVA; Charlottesville, Va or Charleston, WV

Hello everyone….yet another question. Right now I have to drive eight hours (round trip) for a very brief visit with my dr. I’m hoping to find a dr. who knows something about CIDP who is closer to my home. Do any of you go to, or know of, a dr. at the Univ. of Va. in Charlottesville or at CAMC in Charleston, WV? This would cut down on driving time. Also, I’m looking for a dr. who will sit down and talk to me and actually explain to me what is going on with this illness. It’s so frustrating to drive that far and leave feeling like my concerns haven’t been addressed.
