As safe as always. If you need a tooth extracted, you have to do it.

Hi John. My wife began GBS Apr 2018 and is recovering… she has just started being able to walk with a cane sometimes in place of walker. Yesterday our dentist told here she needs a tooth extracted. She is scared that this will result in a relapse of GBS. So can you let us know how your dental work went please… was it OK (if an extraction is ever ok that is:))

      thanks

      Dave

As far as I know, I don’t think getting your tooth extracted after GBS should cause any problem

I’ve had extractions and other dental procedures after GBS. Everything has always gone well. No problems.
