Chronically Low Serum Calcium?

      Hi all

I seem to end up with low calcium – 2.2 or less on a regular basis. When I had PP, I had to get calcium supplements regularly. However, it is now over a year later and it seems that I can’t keep it in the normal range.

There seems to be some research around t-cell calcium channels and relief of painful neuropathy, but I don’t know if that is related to this at all. I have a primarily sensory neuropathy of the dorsal root ganglion – diagnosed as CIDP. I get IVIg monthly, and take other pain killing medications.

Does this ring bells with any of you? Any ideas/thoughts gratefully accepted. I already take easily absorbed calcium supplements and eat lots of high calcium food!:p

      Thanks!
