AMPYDIN – What is it, and what does it do?
Any detailed info would be great. My father is 16 months post GBS and has residual motor dysfuction in his face. One of my doctor friends thought this might help, but didn’t know for sure.

What kind of motor dysfunction does your father have? Just curious ….. When I get tired, my left eye droops quite a bit, strangly enough my mother comments on that when she comes to visit (about 21 years post). Also, my speech gets slurred, and I really do feel embarassed because I think they must believe I am drunk or really stupid. I have never heard of AMPYDIN before (but beleive me that doesnt mean anything), what have you been told about it?
How is your father doing besides the facial dysfunction?
