      My Story, was hit by GBS in december 2016 in the Philippine , after 4 hours my whole body was paralysed and I could only move my head for 3 month. I managed to breath without support. Was treatet with Methylprednisolone (solo medrol (1g intravenøs)) and Citicoline for 5 Days then predisone down trapping for another 2 month.
      After 4 month returned to Denmark the diagnose was AMAN.today i am able to walk om level street. My hands and legs are wery weak, only able to pres 2 kgs with my hands (bote sides) only treathment today is Lyrica and training.
      I am a Philippine woman 57 years old, how are my chances for recovery ?

      Only time will tell. Generally, maximum recovery is reached in about three years. You need to continue physical therapy and keep active within your limits. You cannot speed recovery by working harder, so get exercize without overdoing it and hope for improvement.
