Been taking the prednisone in the early morning hours. And not taking any at all at bedtime. But for some reason my body every evening gets this way whether I over do it or not. I have done nothing at all today and now that evening has approached here I go again! Hugs

Hi Dick S! I take my Prednisone early in the morning with my breakfast! By the time the evening comes around I end up suffering. Whayever this is I guess I will just have to wait it out until Monday! We have to be there tomorrow at 8 in the morning. Yuk! I have to get up at 5 so we can be there on time.
I finally did get some sleep last night but when I wooke up this morning both legs felt like jelly and weak as a pea! Old southern slang! LOL!
This morning I am going to check out all my medications and see if any of them are causing this. Quite possible since I have had a gew added on! I barely did anything yesterday and have sore weak muscles! Very sore!
Maybe tomorrow I will have some answers! Hugs

Hi Dick S! Not really sure whom the doctor will be at Duke. They have not gotten me scheduled yet. But my Neuro did say that I was going to the MDA/ALS Clinic there. And will be seen by a specialist that deals with rare diseases. I hope this specialist is good. That is my biggest fear! Getting a non listening doctor. I have had motor nerve damage and sensory nerve damage and can tell when a motor nerve gets attacked. Right not my left leg nerve is acting up bad. The Sciatic Nerve feels like it’s inflammed and causing bad weakness. The right leg is also trying to do the same thing.This disease whatever it is stinks! Really stinks! This morning I had to use my walker and unless this improves it looks like I will see the walker a while. I am on prednisone but only 10 mgs. It’s too low a dose and not working good at all. So this stuff is progressing at a rapid pace. I may have to get worse before I get better. That is what this is beginning to look like!
