Sweating

    • May 28, 2015 at 10:48 pm

I have had GBS for 26 years. Excessive sweating is one of the most embarrassing problems that i have.
Does anybody have trouble with excessive sweating on the face and head? Do you know what I can do to slow it down?
      Any info would be helpful.

It would not be GBS after 26 years. GBS is usually a single event and RGBS seldom occurs after a couple years. More likely would be CIDP, MMN, MADSAM, or similar disorders. Small Fiber Neuropathies (SFN) often includes sweating of the face and neck. Please see this article for more details:

Please read these topic threads for some additional info:

I hope you find the info you are seeking and a remedy for your annoying symptoms.

Jim is correct, and the problem may have nothing to do with neuropathy anyway.

Has anybody tried Robinul or Atropine for sweating?

I too have a issue with sweating. It drives me crazy. Between that and the shooting pains in my legs and feet it’s hard to get any decent sleep. I was dx in hospital and released March 9th 2016. Praying for a fast recovery.
