Pain after GBS testing?

      I went to my clinic today and got tested for Group B Strep (GBS) today and now it’s very painful when I urinate and I’m starting to spot a little. Is this suppose to happen?
      When the nurse did the swab it hurt also…it felt like I was getting stabbed down there…Normal or No?

      I don’t mean to sound unsympathetic, but this website is about acquired peripheral neuropathies, not medical problems generally. You would do better to go back to the clinic or to a urologist.

        Here, GBS means Guillain-Barré Syndrome.
