Massages/sensation loss

My feet and hands can hurt so badly – from the paresthesias, but also from soreness, as they are weak and have to work harder and get sore etc… I used to love a good foot or hand massage, but now I can’t enjoy it, as I can’t feel it.. I can have someone squeeze so hard on my hands and feels like nothing… though I don’t feel like day to day my sensory symptoms are all that bad, its strange.. anyone experience this?

I too miss getting a relaxing foot or leg massage!

My nerves are so jumbled now, due to Myelin damage, that I experience pain whenever my feet are even washed and dried. Physical therapy on my feet or calves causes the same painful reaction and I often involuntarily try to pull my foot/leg away.

My hands are still numb and tingly and I do not have the strength I had prior to GBS/CIDP. But I can feel someone applying pressure to my hands these days.

I hope your sensory situation improves so you can once again enjoy the massages!
