IVIG adverse reactions

      Hi. My husband is being treated with IVIG for peripheral neuropathy. Dr says he is about a hair away from being diagnosed with cidp. So he’s had 5 IVIG treatments and has developed hypoglycemia – spent three days in hospital. Also his skin has become extremely sensitive and hes now allergic to our cat. Anyone else have a similar story?

      There is a possibility that Diabetic Neuropathy may be involved. Symptoms can mimic those of CIDP. Please read this Mayo Clinic brief to learn more about it:

      Thnk you. Hes not diabetic. He does have scleroderma which is another can of worms.
