I think what the moderators are saying is no one can post links to web sites that sell medications, or porn sites. We have had our fair share of people who are not above board with their advertisements.

This is what I have taken away from what the front page has to say. I do not believe they are talking to any of us who are members in good standing.

I also don’t think they are talking about telling any jokes or games we play in the Lighter Side.

So I am asking that any of you who feel the need to leave because of that message, please stay, it’s not you, only the nasties who want our money for their products.

I just wanted to speak from my heart and say that you have never offended me. You remind me of a friend I had because he liked to make “man” jokes, even in the presence of ladies, but you know what, to me, his humor didn’t come across in a vulger gutter language way, and we got along great as friends. I knew the difference.

You are not offending anyone. That message from the Foundation is all about the creeps who come here with their web sites that have nothing to do with GBS/CIDP. That’s all this is plain and simple. It seems that alot of you are getting upset over nothing.

So stay and help the next new person who comes here seeking help.

Yeah, I just noticed that warning. But it would pertain to any link say one that provides factual info as well, correct? I was wondering why Jerimy had posted somewhere that he couldn’t post a link and then I saw that and thought ‘yuck!’ I’ve had several people in here link me to a site that was beneficial. And if one isn’t smart enough to differentiate between info and phooey stuff, then perhaps they should just curl up in their corner of the world.
