Buzzing feeling up back of my neck

I have CIDP. Have had it 5 years now. I am on IVIG every 4 weeks. Lately I have been feeling a buzzing sensation up the back of my neck. I have to rub my neck to get relief. It feels like I have a tuning-fork on my neck at times. Has anyone else ever experienced this sensation? Any idea what it could be?

Hmmm I don’t think I have CIDP just GBS, and I don’t take IVIG. But I’ve had that buzzing sensation on parts of my body since I was originally sick. It feels like my phone is vibrating but my phone isn’t on me. I usually get it in my hip or knee or my neck.

Could it be an indication that a nerve is coming back to life?

I had GBS and remember the teeth on one side of my mouth doing that. Felt like an electrical current buzzing through. Hurt, too – like having 8 toothaches all at once.

If this is the case, then the sensation is a good thing.
