trip postponed

Brett, it’s from Vonnegut’s “Slaughterhouse five”.

We had some unexpected medical and other expenses on top of soaring gasoline prices. In addition, our son Michael and Kathy in Connecticut have not sold their house yet but already own a new one which will be empty for while. It is only the new one that would have been wheelchair accessible. It seemed like a wise decision to postpone our planned trip east. This is all a bit disappointing for us but we hope that we can go through with it early summer of next year. We will put the many AAA travel books and maps away in a safe place so we don’t have to look at them. 🙁
