my intent with the tattoo is also to remember my journey, there is no doubt that i will remember this for the rest of my life but my GBS went so far that i had to wear AFO’s to walk and the design is butterflies my design in my head is an open book with tattered pages showing age, with the date i was diagnosed on one side and the date i was discharged and recovered on the other page. flying out from the book pages on the right will be a butterfly landing onto a fairies wings. it sounds really busy but in my head it seems to just fit me.. the boy that i got quite close to in the hospital called me his butterfly and it has stuck with me since then bc butterflies go thru such a long process to become what they are and it seems like so have i…
