Just a little sidebar, my mom had a heart attack and had a stent put in after. As well, my sister in laws mom had a quadrupple bypass around the same time and was exersizing and up and about 6 months before my mom. (She did not have a heart attack, and was just going in for an angiogram because of some warning signs) So at least they are taking care of things before a major hear attack and the muscle has not been damaged. Hopefully recovery from surgery will go as smoothly for your dad!
