My hometown on Google Earth

This is so cool:D I just played around with Google Earth to find Offenbach, my hometown in Germany. Seems like a lot has changed since I have last been there in 2001 when we were going to attend my brothers funeral. We missed it because our flight was scheduled on 9/11. I was born and raised in the apartment building shown with the red arrow. It used to belong to my grandparents and they also had a grocery store on the first floor. It was a lot of fun as a kid because it was right across from the main railway station. There was a wall across from the street which we used to climb and then crawl up the embankment to watch the coming and going of the trains. World War II was pretty scary and excitement at the same time for us children. One time we actually found an incendiary bomb that went through the roof of our house but didn’t go off. Well, there is a lot to tell but this is not the place. It was just fun to see it again from above.
