Travelling down Interstate 44 – you’ll go through Lebanon Missouri. That’s about 20 miles from my house. Let me know if you would like to know any information about the area…..I read that you’re using KOA sites so I’m assuming that you’re camping.

There is a State Park right outside of Lebanon – Benett Springs State Park and it is really awesome. Camping sites galore. It is renouned for being a true rainbow trout fish hatchery and the trout fishing is awesome….I’ll have to check on seasons and limits and other things if you’re interested.

Now to my daily stop just to check in…..

I’m sitting here in Day three of a jury trial waiting for the jury to deliberate and come out with a verdict. After I’m done here, I’m going to head out to our building site and look at the progress on the house that I’m building for my wife and two girls.

I’m not boasting or bragging, and I’m very conscious of that when I talk about the new house, but I’ve worked and saved and worked more jobs to be able to purchase a small tract of land and begin building my wonderful wife and two daughters their house.

Contracting, Obtaining, Coming down with (I’m not sure if that is the correct nomenclature) GBS in January of 2007 put the building of the house back a bit, HOWEVER, it did put building the house to the FRONT of my list of things to do. I decided, after I was in the hospital, laying in my bed looking at the ceiling that I’m not going to wait ANY LONGER!!!!!

I had to go back to work and make sure that I was able to perform my duties sufficiently and then my wife and I started the process. Currently I have basement walls poured and the forms stripped. I’m conversing with a plumber to have the plumbing fixed in the floor and then the framer will start ASAP after those things have finished.

I’ve ranted long enough…..but I’ve ranted with a smile on my face. Thanks Norb for the thread.
