Hi all,

I recommend a booked call Prescription for Nutritional Healing. It has a wealth of information, and so far has been accurate with it’s info. The author is James and Phyllis Balch. They also have published Pres. for Dietary Wellness, and Prescription for Drug Alternatives, and I believe, one on drug contraindications.

I have CIDP, diagnosed in July 08. Have just finished my third IVIG, and have been on 50 mg of Prednisone since the end of September. (I’ve never taken prescription drugs, ever!lol).

Currently I’m taking for supplements:
A vit/min supplement
sublingual B 12
400 mg vit E
1200 Omega 3 Fish Oil
Quercitin/vit C
Lecithin(builds the myelin)
4 oz Aloe Vera Juice(cell rejuvenator)
1000 mg Cal/Mag/Vit D
Co Q 10

Also am incorporating Anti Inflammatory foods/herbs in my cooking. Tumeric is one, and of course the usual garlic, parsley, oregano, rosemary, cabbage, blueberries, etc etc. I only buy organic, and make it affordable by organizing a natural food buying club.

It seems to make me feel better, and I notice a real difference when I am “bad” and have a Ben and Jerry’s attack! (although, I only get the frozen yogurt Cherry Garcia! lol). So far I haven’t gained weight from the prednisone, now if I could just get the sleep issue delt with.
