My husband and I (he’s the sick one) are headed to Braintree MA to see Dr. Patrick Madden on Sept 8th. We have been to several neurologists/neuromuscular types here in Central PA (unsuccessfully), and have decided to hit the Boston area.

Dr. Madden was recommended to us by someone with CIDP who also struggled for some time to get a Dx. She cannot say enough good things about him.

My boss had/has transverse myelitis. After many unfruitful visits with various neurologists, he landed at Mass General and says almost all of the neuros there were great.

he also mentioned that he saw a MGH physiatrist who brought in both allopathic/Western AND alternative pain management therapies such as acupuncture. If you would like, I can get actual MD names from him.
