Renee, seems like part of process. I experienced same after IVIG. Tylenol helped. Hang in there better days to come….rest, exercise as much as you can and stay hydrated. I emphasize REST!

I had GBS with paralysis and had the same feeling of a band around my stomach with bloating, constipation and the worse heartburn you can imagine. Was unable to eat much at all. I had two spinal taps before being diagnosed. I hope and pray your husband will soon get help. It is a horrible feeling when you know there is a serious problem and the medical professionals cannot find the problem. Then you start thinking they think you are insane, especially when you are a senior citizen.
Don’t give up. Pray and press forward.

I had GBS/miller fisher in Nov. 2015. My eyes or eyelids would not move. When healing started after IVIG I was seeing double and triple. Needless to say my balance was bad. When I left hospital I was sent to a rehab center where they had me use a patch on one eye for 30 minutes and then the other eye for 30 minutes. I came home in December continuing physical therapy and using the eye patch. In March 2016 I was able to start driving again. I understand the frustration. GBS alone is awful but when the eye site leaves you it causes panic. Hang in there. Rest is very important.
