      CARLISLE, Pa. — Police say a central Pennsylvania woman from the Carlisle area is facing DUI charges for piloting her motorized wheelchair with a blood-alcohol level at least twice the legal limit for drivers. Thursday, July 21, 2011.

      Thanks for posting, Norb; that should be an interesting case in court. :rolleyes:
      She could have always pleaded interference from cell-phones, CB’s, etc., which could cause her wheelchair to exhibit erratic behavior. Who needs alcohol to appear under-the-influence? And those motorized scooters and chairs have to be client-suited, or there could be probs manoeuvering them.
      Too bad she failed the breathalyzer…it’s a dead give-away.

      you can also be charged with dui in ohio for riding a bicycle under the influence
