Dear Dave:
The best thing that may appear on TV this fall is “The Amazing Screw-on Head” on the Scifi Channel. You can see the pilot by going to scifi.com, hit the search function, and type in “Amazing Screw On Head”. This might be the funniest show on TV ever! Lets check out my checklist of things which make a great show:
Monkeys…….check
Zombies…….check****This show gets two extra credit checks because it has HOMICIDAL ZOMBIE MONKEYS WITH MACHINE GUNS!!**********
Explosions…..check
High Body Count ……..Check
Rage against the Machine in the soundtrack …….. no check
So funny you could wet yourself …….Check
No useless dialogue wasted on plot developement …….Check
More than 10 ways in which someone dies …… CheckThis show gets an 9 out of 8 checks, so you can see that this show is going to kick so much butt they are going to have to import some from Canada.

Lee, I never pictured you as a Rage Against the Machine fan… interesting. Now I got a tune stuck in my head.
I am waiting for House and Lost. Lost better get the groove on quick or they will lose me.
I’ve been enjoying Eureka on Sci-Fi on Tuesday nights. It is twisted enough for me. I would love to live in that place. Oh and on Sci-Fi I am addicted to Stargate SG1 – except my dream man only produces/directs now. I need my hero ‘McGyver’. I wonder when Battlestar Gallatica (?sp) will start back?
Oh, and History channel has been showing lots of ‘Ancient’ stuff that I really enjoy. I think I am a reincarnated Egyptian. Go figure.

I quite enjoy watching Rock Star SuperNova – although I missed it last night. I dont think a lot of the contestants are as good as some were for the INXS one last year. But my FAV is Dilana, and by the way, she is a South Afican ‘chick’ just like me. Her being South African in no way influences my decision, she is just brilliant at any song she sings, and her stage presence is awsome compared to the others.

Has anybody ever seen a hospital show (i.e. House, ER, Scrubs, Bones, etc.) with an episode relating to GBS / CIDP?
I am not allowed to watch hospital shows, in general, since my wife is a doc and it reminds her too much of work. But, I could always sneak into the bedroom to watch a TV episode if it was that intriguing.
But for now, I will watch Greg Maddux pitch whenever possible.
(I also really like Prison Break!)

I’ve been watching lots of hospital shows but never one about GBS/CIDP. I am sure I would remember that one.
We spend 3 days a week babysitting our granddaughter. Our daughter is a second year resident in Emergency Medicine. Sofar she hasn’t complained yet about us watching these shows. Maybe her crazy shifts make her so tired she doesn’t care ๐
