waiting on lumbar punture results

      I had a lumbar punture on thursday at Johns Hopkins, when should I expect results.

      Hubby got his LP results within a few days–less than a week.

      Your lumbar puncture results were finalized today. There is a mild elevation in CSF protein (yours is 66 mg/dL; normal is 15-45). This result is suggestive of demyelination, which can be seen in immune-mediated polyneuropathy or myelopathy.

      Your results were similar to my husbands i.e mild elevation of protein.
