I finally got into the U of MN neurological clinic today. I have been on a waiting list to see their CIDP specialist and finally someone cancelled and I got an appointment. I plan to switch over to the U of M for my neurological care now. I was much impressed with the knowledge of my doctor. He addressed more stuff in this one visit than my normal neurologist I have been seeing has in the months I have seen her. He also hatched a plan for going forward with treatments so I feel I have some notion whats to come. My other neurologist never had any plans, I would just see her nurse practitioner and then they would email each other and make decisions. I am happy I made the switch. Now hopefully I can start to feel more normal. He has scheduled more IVIg for me this weekend and a follow up EMG NCS for me in three weeks to see if I have an improved test from my initial diagnosis test. He said since I have such mild symptoms that there is a very good chance he could get this into remission for me. Wouldn’t that be great!!! :p
