Hi im new here. my son is 16 years old and he has had CIDP for nearly 4 years now.

Welcome to our family Christine. Glad that you found us, how is your son doing?? It must be hard for him to deal with this at his young age, in highschool etc. Hope to get to know you better. Take care and come back often 🙂

My son is also 16 and he was diagnosed 2 years ago.
It is so hard just being a teenager even without dealing with this.
My son deals pretty well for awhile and then he just “breaks”. He gets really mad about it sometimes.
How does your son handle it?

Hi Chris.
Please tell the members about your son. All of us give back 10 fold what we have been through and now we support and help and give love to others.
Remember we all walk the same path and in most cases we know more about what we have than 60% of the doctors. We will be looking forward to giveing help and support to you and your son (Steve)
