to add again to the dialog on treatments, I was very excited to see the paper from Mariette et. al.
A randomised clinical trial comparing interferon- and intravenous immunoglobulin in polyneuropathy associated with monoclonal IgM

Most of the research Ive seen indicates low efficacy with interferon, which their results indicate. but the data looks pretty exciting for interferon.
their explanation for potential efficacy includes
1) reduced titres
2) limiting blood nerve interface
3) binding citokines

seems to more elegant approach than rituxan??

does anybody have any follow-up on this?? I am tracking done all the references now

this work was actually done more than 10 years ago/ and I would love to see some recent work
