      Hi Dawn,
Kevie is definitely in our prayers as well as the rest of your family. I had an infusa port in my left upper chest and it was a blessing. They also had a spray that they would spray the area before they accessed it and I never felt a thing. At 46 years old it was still traumatic for me so i can’t imagine what these kids go thru.

I have no doubt you will make the best choices for kevie..give him hugs from all us cyber aunts and keep us posted.

      Hi Dawn,

It’s been quite a few years since I had a port, however, they used local anesthesia to numb the area.

I’m praying for you guys. ~hugs

      Take care,

      Tina

Oh Dawn, I’m so sorry to hear of yet another bump in the road.

I agree, it’s not fair that they have to stick him so much…poor guy.

One thing, I went under general for a breast biopsy and was fine…
wish I had more to help.

Of course, you and Kevie are in my prayers…

thank you for being such a strong, supportive Mom !

Of course, he is always in my prayers!
Let us all hope that this is a little set-back and not a big one!
      Hope always!
