Possible Lyme vaccine cidp

My husband got Lyme vaccine in 1999 and went downhill in a hurry and was diagnosed with Lyme in 2000. He was treated and the disease seemed to be rresolved. The last 2 months he has had all neurological symptoms including burning,tingling, weakness in all 4 limbs,pin prick sensations and lots of muscle twitches all over his body. He is now starting to see double and a little difficulty swallowing. He doesn’t have a lot of the common symptoms of Lyme disease. How many of you think it is cidp and what should I do.

See my other reply, I think whenever your dealing with the numbness and also trouble swallowing it is best to error on the safe side and go to ER.

hi mom & welcome,
perhaps the lymes Dx was wrong to start with. an emg/ncv will tell much. i’d call it gbs or recurring gbs rather than cidp if it is any of these anyway. take care. be well.
