Over and Under

      Dear Friends:

      I know gambling is a really bad thing. So, by definition, any act that aids people in their gambling problems is not virtuous. So by offering odds and betting lines would be a bad thing, unless of course, the betting lines are PURELY FOR ENTERTAINMENT VALUE ONLY.

      So I am offering the following over-under betting lines:

      Amount of time between the news that the Canadian terrorists (I know it’s almost an oxymoron. Perhaps they are polite terrorists.) planned on chopping off the head of the Prime Minister’s head and a rock band called ‘Mr. Harper’s Head’ is formed: 2 weeks

      Number of arrested fans (hooligans?) after the British World Cup team wins it’s first game: 2,000

      I will guess 6 weeks on the rock band, takes time to sober up and come up with a good band name like that.

      Number of hooligans arrested will be 5,000

      In the number of hooligans, are you counting the ones who have had their passports revoked on the run-up to the World Cup to keep them from leaving the UK?
