Neurotoxin Research

      Is anyone aware of any research into snake neurotoxin venoms regarding GBS? I am aware that snake venoms are being researched for potential solutions for parkinsons disease and alzheimers but has anyone looked at neurotoxins ref GBS? The effects of a snake neurotoxin are quite similar to the onset of GBS and this might tell us more about the mechanism of how GBS is started.

      havent heard anything about this. I do know the Botox I was looking forward to in my “growing up” has been ruled out because it can cause trouble in GBS patients. I wonder if the other would be the same?? I definitely think more research is needed.
