My husband got the Lyme vaccine in 1999 and got very sick and had 28 symptoms of Lyme disease. He was treated and the disease seemed to be resolved. In the last 2 months he has slowly gotten worse with full neuropathy in all 4 limbs, weakness, pin prick sensations in hands and feet and today is starting to see double and some difficulty swallowing. A lot of the symptoms from 1999 are not present. Do you think this is cidp? What should I do?
Alot of those symptoms do sound like GBS/CIDP to me. Personally I would take him to the ER to error on the safe side. My vision going double preceded my onset. Best of luck to you and your hubby, he is in my thoughts and prayers for a quick diagnosis and treatment, whatever it ends up being.
Take care,
Jerimy
