Low blood pressure

      My friend has Cidp and every once in a while she gets severe diarrhea accompanied by very low blood pressure occasionally to the point of passing out. One of the similarities off all instances is drinking. I’m talking about a couple of drinks (2-3) but she’s not a big eater any more. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Normally she has high blood pressure and takes meds for it. This is very scary for her as often she is home alone.

      Also realized that this happens a couple of days post IVIG. Hasn’t always happened but after the last few times.

      I have found in my case that absolute consistency is required to maintain an acceptable life. Especially with her treatments there is after care and things that have to be done drinking fluids is one of them. You’re a good friend keep after her esp since she doesn’t have someone that is in house. Take care DB
