      Hello everyone.

I had my monthly ivig booster two days ago…as usual, felt crummy that night with the aches in my legs, arms, feet, and hands. The next day was better as usual and by evening had pain again. Today I am better with minimal pain really…nothing I cant absolutely tolerate.
As the day is going on, I am noticing that my lips feel numb. I have to pinch the bottom pretty hard before I feel it and the top is probably the same.
It feels like novacain wearing off.

has anyone else had this ? I hate to call my dr for every little thing.

thanks much for any help !

      Stacey

      Hi Stacey,

I have not correlated numb lips with my IVIG infusion but I do notice that if I get really stressed out, that I will get numbness and burning around my lips. It goes away after a nights rest.

Hi Stacey ~ I, too, have the numb lip at times; usually when I’m over-tired. I have GBS but over-tired can exacerbate the most unusual symptoms! It is that way with CIDP, is it not?
