I believe CIP stands for Chronic Inflammatory Polyneuropathy. Meaning you have recurring inflammation in more than 1 limb.

CIDP stands for Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy. Meaning you have recurring inflammation AND demyelination going in more than 1 limb.

But I could be wrong with the CIP…it’s just what I’ve thought all these years.

Until now doctors said I have Chronic Inflammatory Polyneuropathy and they didn’t give me any treatment:(

According to my EMG/NCS test :
In the motoric fibers of the peroneal nerve the answers were of lesser amplitude with signs of axonal-radicular lesion on both sides.
The F wave answers were missing on both peroneal nerves suggesting a radicular lesion at the L5 level.

Does it mean that I have CIDP?
