How many of you read the magazine called IG Living? In the Apr-May 2007 issue the editorial is Fair IVIG Reimbursement in All Sites of Care. It talks of how different groups are advocating for their constituents and how their voices are lost. It goes on to say how much better it might be if all the groups got together and made one big loud voice to be heard. There is also an article in there about Medicare Local Coverage Determinations. What is said is that there is not one poliicy for determining approval or dissaproval. It all depends on the local insurance carrier contracted by Medicare.
